E-Safety

E-Safety is an important part of our computing curriculum for all children.

Parents are welcome to attend our termly E-Safety assemblies to keep up to date with the information we give the children.

We have separate E-Safety Codes for EYFS/KS1 and KS2 and these are regularly reviewed with the children:

There are many websites available for parents who wish to do their best to support their children in being safe online. Here are just a few of them:

www.thinkuknow.co.uk: useful if you wish to find the latest information on the sites you like to visit, mobiles and new technology. Find out what’s good, what’s not and what you can do about it.

www.phonebrain.org.uk: PhoneBrain gives you the facts about things you can pay for by phone and what you should watch out for online, so that you remain in control.

www.childnet.com: information to help you keep your child safe online.

www.kidsmart.org.uk: general information about helping to keep your child safe online.

www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc: advice and activities for children to help them understand the importance of  E-Safety.
